My roof doesn't fit flush with my box. (and yes I'm still talking about my popup tent trailer) If you were a popup tent trailer, then after 27 years your roof might not fit flush with your box either. Over the years the roof has kind "bowed-out" a little. Now, an issue like this doesn't really affect the livability of the trailer, but the problem is that if I store the trailer away at my neighbour's father-in-law as planned, all sorts of horrible vermin will be able to make their way into said popup over the snowy months.

Now, I could take all sorts of drastic and not-so-drastic action to correct this situation. It occurs to me I could possibly have a Starcraft dealer replace the roof on my $1600 trailer for $1500 plus installation - if Starcraft still makes this roof...I could also rig up a bolts and wires system, bolts through the roof lips and wires drawing everything taut, straightening out the bowed roof sides. I could even remove the wires in the summer and restore them in the winter...

Enter this tape I bought at Liquidation World. It's kind of hard to describe. It's a nice rusty colour brown like my popup, even though it came in other colours like yellow, red, green, and blue. It's plastic; it's got good tack but I know it won't leave a mark behind in spring - in fact I just hope it hangs on all winter, and I found it in the paint section. It was a big roll too, like duct tape.

For $1.99 I can't go wrong!
